HOW did we get to the end of August??? I can't even believe how fast the year is flying by, it seems like the older I get, the faster it goes. Which makes this kit perfect for this month. What if we just slowed down and took ONE day at a time? You can do anything for one day, right? There are a few things I wouldn't even want to do for that long, but honestly ALMOST anything is ok for ONE day!! This kit is perfect to scrap all those moments, and once again, I LOVE the colors, it's so bright and beautiful!!

I can't believe it's been 12 years PBP!!! I'm so grateful for the opportunity I have to be inspired by so many creative and amazing people. The scrapbook community is one of a kind and I'm grateful to have a little taste of the community that has been created.

I love with with Fayette Designs and I am always so excited when I get the email that says that she has a new kit designed. It's like Christmas morning once a month!!! This month is the Lollly Bag sale for their 12th birthday and I absolutely LOVE this kit. I knew as soon as I opened it that my pictures from my little impromptu trip to St. Louis would be perfect for it, and I was totally right!!!

I really wish I was planning a beach trip so I would be able to use this adorable kit. Maybe I'll have to have some of you send me your beach pictures so I can scrap them for you, haha! ;)

I love all the cute critters and the fun colors of this kit. It just screams summer to me!! I love the bright pops or orange and yellow with the muted sand and water, I love everything about it.

They made some changes over at PBP for the Pickle Barrel and now you can get 10-packs, 6-pack and 4-packs with the new kits. Here is a peak at Fayette's 10 and 6 pack! {you need the 10 pack for sure!}

LOOK & LISTEN || PICKLE BARREL MAY 2018

I love all of Fayette's kits, but some just speak to me more than others. I knew as soon as I saw this one that I had to use these photos from Downtown Chicago that my amazingly talented photographer friends took of me. You can see more of them HERE, and HERE. I love the soft colors with the beautiful scenery of the city.

I wrote this journaling on Sunday when I was having a particularly good day.  I was feeling full of love and light. Tuesday night I came home to a very upset child after a stressful day a work and all "heck" broke loose. I cried for hours, I was angry and sad. I miss my mamma. I'm lonely. I can't help my son because he needs to do this on his own, and as fate would have it, I needed to post these pages right during the moments that I was struggling the most. I didn't feel hopeful or joyful. BUT, I pulled up these pages and remembered the peace and joy I felt on Sunday. I decided right then that I wasn't going to let a bad night override those feelings. Yes, I still felt sad, yes I still miss my mamma, but I am trying to see myself through His eyes, I am trying to find peace and joy in the midst of trials.....and some days, it really is just much harder than others!! :)

FLAWESOME || PICKLE BARREL APRIL 2018

I know I say it every month when I post the Pickle Barrel pages, but I LOVE the colors of this kit once again, of course, you can't really lose with teal for me!! I LOVE, LOVE. LOVE the peacock and feathers, I'm going to find a way to use them because they are adorable!! I love the word art and the theme of this kit....we are all FLAWESOME and this is a great kit to scrap our true selves.
