TAKE MY ADVICE || NEW RELEASE FROM FAYETTE

One of my favorite parts of Fayette's kits is her adorable, and always useful wordart. Many times my pages come together because of the word art, quotes or phrases that she uses when she designs her kits. Most of the time I start my page with the wordart and find a photo or story that goes with it to make my page. I LOVE all of the wordart in this one, I could have made several more pages with all the cute wordart she included.

Take a look at this gorgeous new kit she designed.

ALL. Day EVERY. Day....Pickle Barrel at PBP

Oh man, this kit spoke to me.....there is something about my "Baby" graduating from High School that has me all emotional about being a mom....and maybe knowing that my own mamma won't be able to come to graduation. Being a mamma is hard. So. Dang. Hard!! I love my boy so much, but man watching him grow up and make decisions on his own is so strange for me!

Get this awesome kit now while it's on SALE!!

Oh, what a difference a day makes!!

Two months ago my mom was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She had been sick for a couple months, but we were not able to figure out what was wrong with her. The diagnosis came as a huge shock and left us all feeling very overwhelmed and afraid!

I left to go to Utah just a couple days after she was diagnosed, and I was there for a month. It was a whirlwind trip and I took over 1,000 pictures. I think part of my therapy has been working through and processing my pictures and writing ALL of my journaling. I wanted to remember everything. I needed to process my feelings, my fears, the hard times, the good times and everything in between.  I am so grateful for scrapbooking and for what it has done for me personally and for my own story telling. I love that I have found a way to tell my story. It's who I am and what I want to remember.

I wanted it all to "go" together. I used a kit called "She's a Fighter" by Kristin Cronin-Barrow from Sweet Shoppe Designs for most of the pages. {I added a few other elements from my stash}.

All of the templates are from Yin Designs, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her templates!!

I can't wait to print it!!
