I can't believe that this year is almost over and it's time for the holidays again. I have been so busy with fall photo sessions that I've hardly had time to breathe lately, and I've had next to zero time to scrapbook. This is my last busy weekend {I think!} and I'm excited and sad, because I LOVE photos. I did some Christmas mini sessions this year and I was able to capture this adorable little one in her Christmas best! I love these photos and they matched PERFECTLY with this kit, it was like Fayette made it just for me!! {Thanks Faye!!}.

I missed a few new kits while I was in Utah taking care of my mom and having her funeral. {You can read all about my last few months on my Family Blog}. I'm back home in Chicago now and trying to get back to somewhat of a normal life {although nothing will ever be the same again!}.

From Struggles to Strength - Pickle Barrel for July

I LOVE this kit. It came at a perfect time for my life. If you saw my Family Blog you saw that I just got home from helping my sister move all the way across the country to live with my parents for a while and get her life back together. It's hard to watch those you love struggle and be in pain. This kit reminded me that the struggles we have in this life make us stronger. When we are having hard times, we are usually learning lessons and growing in ways that we wouldn't otherwise be able to grow. I am grateful to be able to capture these moments in my history because they tell an important part about who I have become.
